Bus, Car Collide In Local Intersection; 4 Injured

At least four people injured in a collision Wednesday afternoon involving a car and a city bus were taken to a local hospital.

WACO (January 15, 2014) At least four people who were injured in a collision involving a city bus and a car were taken to a Waco hospital Wednesday afternoon.

The four people were passengers on a Waco Transit Bus that was involved in a collision with another vehicle that sent it into a light pole at the intersection of North 15th Street and West Waco Drive, police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.

The four passengers did not appear to be seriously hurt.

Traffic on southbound 15th Street was redirected around the accident scene while city crews repaired the light pole.
