AUSTIN (July 9, 2014) Five people were hurt late Tuesday night in an accident involving a chartered bus and a pickup truck on Interstate 35 in Austin.
Investigators were trying to determine Wednesday what caused the crash, which slowed traffic on the highway overnight.
The bus driver was trapped in the wreckage and had to be freed, authorities said.
He was seriously hurt.
Three bus passengers and the driver of the pickup were also injured.
About two-dozen people were riding on the bus.
