Car Crashes Into Fence; Driver’s Whereabouts A Mystery

By: Paul J. Gately Email

WACO (January 1, 2013)--Police were looking Tuesday for the driver of a car that crashed through a fence at a home in a West Waco neighborhood.

Officers found the car after responding to a call at around 10 a.m. Tuesday at the home near the intersection of Cobbs and Hanover Drives in Waco.

The homeowners were not home.

Police were able to track down the car’s owner who told officers he’s not sure how the vehicle got there and said he wasn't sure who was driving it when it crashed.

It’s not clear exactly when the car crashed through the fence, but it evidently happened sometime early Tuesday.
