Cash In Local Bank Teller’s Hand Was Almost Gone With The Wind

WACO (April 22, 2011)—A gust of wind blew some cash out of the hand of a bank teller Friday afternoon at the drive-through facility at the Wells Fargo Bank at 300 Franklin Ave. in downtown Waco, but a man who was in a van in the drive through grabbed it and claimed it was his.

The teller was in the process of picking up the cash when the man got out of the van, claimed the cash was his, pushed the teller and took the money.

Police later tracked down the van and arrested a 52-year-old man in connection with the theft.
