Central Texas Man Charged After Woman Run Down, Killed

CENTERVILLE (January 22, 2013)—Christopher Lee Byrd, 30, was in the Leon County Jail Tuesday, charged in the death of a woman who authorities said was run down with a vehicle during a domestic dispute.

Byrd is charged with intoxication manslaughter.

KBTX-TV in Bryan identified the victim, Crystal Renee Noey, as Byrd’s girlfriend.

Authorities say she was run down after what started as an “intoxicated domestic dispute.”

Byrd is held in lieu of $50,000 bond.
