MIDLAND COUNTY (April 30, 2013)--A Lampasas teenager and another man died Saturday in a four-vehicle crash in West Texas.
The Department of Public Safety says Zachary Dibble, 19, of Lampasas, and Gonalo Barraz, 47, of Rio Grande City, were killed when their vehicles collided head-on at around 6 a.m. Saturday on State Highway 158 near Midland.
After the two vehicles collided two more vehicles struck the wreckage, DPS troopers said.
Both Dibble and Barraz were pronounced dead at the scene but a 46-year-old man was taken to a Midland hospital where he was listed in stable condition Tuesday.
The third man's name, who was believed to be the driver of the third vehicle, was not released.
The driver of the fourth vehicle was not injured, DPS troopers said.
The DPS crash report showed all drivers were wearing seat belts.
Funeral arrangements for Dibble were pending Tuesday at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas.
