TEMPLE (January 23, 2013)—Cedric Lilly, 17, was in the Bell County Jail Wednesday, charged with murder in a deadly shooting in November that happened when he was 16.

Lilly was transferred Tuesday to the jail from the Bell County Juvenile Detention Center where he’s been held since his arrest on Nov. 10 after a state district judge certified him to stand trial as an adult.

He was ordered held in lieu of $100,000 bond.

Lilly was arrested a day after friends discovered Michael Lamar Green, 34, lying on the floor of the front room of his home in the 400 block of South 32nd Street in Temple.

Green had been shot repeatedly, police said.

Paramedics performed CPR in an unsuccessful attempt to revive Green, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
