FALLS COUNTY (September 2, 2014) A Hewitt woman was found dead Tuesday morning, nearly five days after she evidently was ejected from her car in a single-vehicle crash on a rural Central Texas road.

The wreckage of the 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser was found at around 8 p.m. Sunday about 3 miles south of Satin on FM 434 in Falls County.

Tuesday morning a passerby found the body in a nearby creek.

The Department of Public Safety identified the woman Tuesday as Patricia Ellen Raynor, 45, of Hewitt.

The crash happened at around 9 p.m. Thursday after she left a home in Satin, the DPS said.

An autopsy was ordered.

Raynor’s family owns a florist shop in Hewitt, the DPS said.
