CLEBURNE (May 17, 2013)--School was canceled for a second day Friday in Cleburne where a tornado damaged buildings and cut power.
The Cleburne Independent School District says all campuses remained closed Friday because of power outages and road conditions in the aftermath of Wednesday night's tornado.
Dallas-based Oncor reported that about 1,200 customers in North Texas still without power Friday, most of them in in Cleburne.
The National Weather Service has rated the tornado that hit Cleburne as an EF-3 with winds estimated at 135 to 165 miles per hour.
No deaths or serious injuries were reported there.
Cleburne is 25 miles southeast of Granbury, where a tornado Wednesday night killed at least six people.
