HOUSTON (March 24, 2014) A woman who was cleaning a Houston strip club was found dead after a break-in and investigators are seeking the public's help in finding the victim’s attacker.
Maria Lucrecia, 27, was found dead at the business after her husband couldn't reach her.
A manager contacted police, who located the victim Saturday afternoon.
The strip club was closed at the time of the slaying.
Police spokesman John Cannon says one or more people broke into the business, killed the woman and stole about $1,000 from a cash register.
Lucrecia died of blunt force trauma.
She was about five months pregnant, authorities said.
