CORPUS CHRISTI (April 14, 2014) The crew of a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter has been found a body that fits the description of a 48-year-old man missing from his boat off the coast of South Texas.
Coast Guard officials say the crew spotted the body Sunday afternoon in San Antonio Bay and then guided a Texas Parks and Wildlife Department boat crew to the location.
The man, whose name has not been released, was reported missing after someone came upon his boat in San Antonio Bay, northeast of Corpus Christi, on Friday.
The throttle on the 25-foot black-and-tan pleasure craft's engine was still engaged when the boat was found.
