MCLENNAN COUNTY (September 24, 2012)--One man was taken to a Waco hospital Monday morning after the pickup truck he was driving and another car collided at a highway intersection.

Police said the pickup was turning onto southbound State Highway 6 from Farm-to-Market 185 when the truck and a Dodge that was northbound on Highway 6 collided in the intersection.

The driver of the pickup was taken by ambulance to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center.

The driver of the Dodge was not injured.

Traffic was backed up at the intersection while crews cleared debris from the roadway but within about 30 minutes was moving normally.
