LORENA (January 10, 2013)—A two-car collision Wednesday afternoon on an Interstate 35 access road in Lorena sent two drivers to local hospitals, one by helicopter.
The collision between a northbound Mazda and a southbound Honda Civic left a woman trapped in the Mazda.
She was flown to Scott & White Hospital in Temple after she was freed.
The driver of the Honda was taken by ambulance to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center.
Their injuries weren’t believed to be life threatening.
