WACO (February 12, 2014) Firefighters, paramedics and game wardens responded to a report of a drowning Wednesday afternoon at Tradinghouse Creek Reservoir East of Waco, but it turned out to be a false alarm.
Initial reports indicated that a boat capsized near a ramp and that the occupants couldn’t be found, but instead of a boat, authorities found a flock of pelicans on the lake.
The pelicans evidently looked like a boat from a distance.
