BRUCEVILLE-EDDY (July 13, 2011)—Police made a quick arrest after two customers were robbed at gunpoint late Tuesday night as they pumped gas into their vehicles at the Cefco store off Interstate 35 in Bruceville-Eddy.

Bruceville-Eddy Police Chief Dan Ferguson said the robbery was reported at around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Officer Chris Veselka responded, assisted by McLennan County sheriff’s deputies and Department Public Safety troopers.

The victims told officers that a man in a 1993 Toyota Camry pulled up next to them, brandished a pistol and demanded their money.

The victims ran into the store and told the attendant, who called 911, Ferguson said.

Veselka checked the license number of the Toyota and recognized the name of the owner.

Officers went to a home in Lorena where they found the car and arrested Gary Randall Mull, 33.

He was charged with aggravated robbery, Ferguson said.

He was held Wednesday in the McLennan County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.
