TROY (May 18, 2013)--Witness who saw multiple accidents on I-35 say distracted drivers may have caused at least one pileup.
The first accident happened around 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
Initial reports say that crash involved an 18-wheeler and another car on the southbound side of the interstate.
DPS officials say at least five cars were involved.
Troopers say two children were taken to McLane Children's Hospital in Temple.
There's no word on the extent of their injuries.
A witness told News 10 that drivers not paying attention caused a pile up on the northbound side of the interstate.
