GEORGETOWN (July 21, 2014) Divers have recovered the body of a Round Rock teenager who drowned in Lake Georgetown.
The 16-year-old boy disappeared after he jumped off a pipe into the lake Friday afternoon.
He came up for air, and then went under, witnesses said.
Divers from the body Sunday morning in about 50 feet of water.
The teen’s name wasn’t immediately released.
Four people have died at the lake within two months.
A 4-year-old boy and his 6-year-old sister who were originally from Waco before they were placed in foster care drowned earlier this month.
A 28-year-old man drowned in June.
