Driver Runs After Rollover That Sent Two Passengers To Local Hospital

KILLEEN (February 22, 2013)--A driver fled early Friday after a rollover in Killeen that left two other people injured.

One of the injured passengers was flown to Scott & White Hospital in Temple and the other was taken by ambulance to a Killeen hospital just before 2 a.m. Friday after the accident on Clear Creek Road near Veterans Memorial Blvd.

Police said the driver was speeding and lost control of the vehicle, which swerved off the paved surface and overturned in a small creek.

The names and conditions of the two injured passengers weren’t available Friday morning.

Police were looking for the driver.
