Drug Raid On Rural Home Leads To One Arrest

BRUCEVILLE-EDDY (July 25, 2014) Authorities arrested one man Thursday night after officers from several agencies served a search warrant at a Bruceville-Eddy home.

Bruceville-Eddy police, agents of the Drug Enforcement Agency, Department of Public Safety troopers and Temple police surrounded a house on Mackey Ranch Road as part of a joint operation.

Investigators seized what Bruceville-Eddy police Chief Bill McLean called a "significant" quantity of drugs from inside the home, but he did not say what kind.

One man was arrested at the scene and was taken to the McLennan County Jail, bu the was not immediately identified.

McLean declined to provide any more details about the incident.
