KILLEEN (January 19, 2013)--A one-car accident at the 1900 block of W. Stan Schlueter Loop killed a man early Saturday morning.
The accident happened at 12:59 a.m.
Killeen police identified the driver as 29 year-old Leonel Feliciano Fernandez.
Police say the driver of a silver Mitsubishi Eclipse had left the north side of the roadway and collided with a concrete drainage culvert which badly damaged the driver's side of the vehicle.
Fernandez was partially ejected from the Eclipse and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger was found near the vehicle.
He was transported by ambulance to Scott & White Memorial Hospital and was later released.
Police are still investigating the crash.
