Early-Morning Shooting Leaves 3 Dead In Dallas

DALLAS (August 2, 2014) Dallas police Saturday were investigating a shooting that left three dead, but few details were immediately available.

Police did say, however, they have evidence to suggest that the three were killed in a home where drugs were sold.

A fourth person was wounded in the shooting.

Officers responded just before 7 a.m. Saturday to South Oak Cliff south of downtown.

A gunman was seen fleeing, Senior Cpl. DeMarquis Black said Saturday, but he had no information about the suspect,

Black said police believe the area where the shooting occurred was a "point of sale" for drugs.

Police have not released the names of the victims.
