TEMPLE (February 5, 2013)--Interstate 35 in Temple is open again after an early morning truck accident Tuesday that left the highway covered with a load of steel.

Temple police Cpl. Christopher Wilcox said at around 2 a.m. Tuesday the southbound 18-wheeler overturned after the driver lost control at about mile marker 300.

The load of steel the truck was carrying spilled over the roadway and police had to close all the southbound lanes while crews removed the debris.

Crews removed the debris and the highway was reopened by around 5 a.m., Wilcox said.

No one was injured in the crash.
