AMARILLO (November 29, 2012)—Eccentric millionaire Texas artist Stanley Marsh 3 was free on $300,000 bond Thursday after he was charged with 11 counts of molesting children.
Marsh, known for his 1970s "Cadillac Ranch" art display in the Texas Panhandle, left the Potter County Detention Center in Amarillo Wednesday night.
Hours earlier, Marsh, 74, surrendered to authorities.
Prosecutors accuse him of molesting one 15-year-old and one 16-year-old boy in 2010.
Marsh's lawyers deny the allegations.
Several earlier lawsuits allege Marsh paid 10 teens for sex acts.
An attorney in the civil cases denies the allegations.
Marsh, known for planting 10 painted Cadillacs nose down on Interstate 40 as an art exhibit, suffered a massive stroke last year.
