Fire Destroys Local Trailer Home Leaving Residents Displaced

GATESVILLE (September 16, 2012)—A trailer home was destroyed Sunday night after police worked to contain a fire there.

The trailer home is on County Road 245, just northeast of Gatesville.

There were two people inside the house at the time. Both of those people made it out of the burning home safely.

Officials say the fire started in the back of the trailer, but are unsure at this time how the fire started.

The fire was contained in about 35 minutes.
