SAN ANTONIO (March 19, 2013)—A fire broke out early Tuesday in the building that houses WOAI-TV in San Antonio at the same time the station does its morning newscasts.
Flames could be seen on the second story of the structure.
A statement on the station's website says WOAI-TV was off the air Tuesday because of a fire that was brought under control.
No injuries were reported.
The statement said programming would resume at around noon once damage was assessed.
Authorities are trying to determine what sparked the blaze, which was reported at around 5 a.m. Tuesday.
