HOUSTON (December 16, 2013) Authorities were trying to determine Monday what led to gunfire that left five teenagers injured at an apartment complex in eastern Harris County.
Investigators want to know whether the shooting in Channelview involved more than one group of people, sheriff’s spokesman Deputy Thomas Gilliland said.
Deputies found one of the five lying on a front lawn.
He was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was in stable condition.
Authorities have not released the names and ages of those injured.
One resident, Brenda Johnson, says she's worried for her safety and wants to move out of the complex.
