DEKALB COUNTY, GA (May 22, 2013)--Former Killeen standout football player David McMillan III, who went on to play in the NFL, was found shot to death Saturday in Dekalb, Ga.

His funeral is set for this Saturday in Augusta, Ga.
Police in Dekalb County say they found McMillan lying at the front of his home after he had gotten out of his pick up truck.
Dekalb County police said based on statements from witnesses they believe robbery was the motive for the shooting.
Police Wednesday morning said the incident remains under investigation and there have been no arrests made.
McMillan played football in Killeen where he graduated from high school in 2001.
He went on to play as a defensive lineman for the University of Kansas, then to the National Football league where he was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round and played there for three years.
McMillan was taken by the Browns in the fifth round of the 2005 NFL Draft and played three seasons as a backup outside linebacker and special teams player.
McMillan played in college at Kansas.
At Killeen High he was selected as an All-Midlands Region pick in Prep Star Magazine. He was coached by Lee Bridges.
