Former NFL QB Charged With Drunken Boating In Texas

RAYMONDVILLE (July 1, 2014) Former Buffalo quarterback Kevin Kolb, 29, was free on bond Tuesday after he was arrested and charged with boating while intoxicated in South Texas.

Kolb was arrested by a Texas Parks and Wildlife Department agent early Saturday and was released several hours later after posting a $3,000 bond, Willacy County jail records show.

Kolb, who’s from Victoria, was released by the Bills in March after failing a physical.

He was sidelined since late August after he suffered a concussion during a 30-7 preseason loss at Washington.

It was at least the third concussion for Kolb, who previously played for Philadelphia and Arizona.
