Former Baylor, MCC Lecturer Pleads Guilty In Child Porn Case

WACO (January 19, 2012)— Former Baylor University and McLennan Community College lecturer Roger Wayne Rouland pleaded guilty Thursday to possession of child pornography.

Rouland, 52, is set for sentencing on March 14.

McLennan Community College Police arrested on June 20, 2009.

He was charged with four counts of possession of child pornography.

MCC Police Chief Larry Radke said then the arrest stemmed from an investigation involving, "found property."

MCC spokesperson Lisa Wilhelm said officers came across some evidence on campus at MCC and were able to trace it back to Rouland.

Rouland was a full-time English lecturer at Baylor University specializing in Renaissance Literature
