Fort Hood Soldier Killed In Crash Six Days Before Christmas

FORT HOOD (January 2, 2013)—Spc. Marcus Orin Williams, 27, of Winslow, Ariz., died in a single-vehicle crash at around 2 a.m. on Dec. 19 in Albuquerque, N.M., Fort Hood said Wednesday.

No other details about the accident were released.

Williams, who deployed to Iraq from November 2007 to January 2009 and from August 2010 to August 2011, joined the Army in April 2006 and arrived at Fort Hood in October 2006.

He had been assigned to the Regimental Support Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, since June 2012.
