Four Bodies Found In Suburban Texas Home; Deaths Ruled Murder-Suicide

MESQUITE: (March 14, 2013)—The deaths of Marcelo Vazquez, 44, and his children, Alejandro, 18, and Paulina, 21, in their home in Mesquite were homicides, the Dallas County’s medical examiner said Thursday

And the death of Angelica Vazquez, 43, Marcelo’s wife and the mother of the Alejandro and Paulina, was ruled a suicide.

A handgun was found near her body in the master bedroom of the family’s house, police said.

Officers discovered the bodies Wednesday after officers forced their way into the home.

Officers were initially sent to the house early Saturday in response to a 911 report of gunfire.

They got no answer to their knocks on the door and found no evidence of a problem, but continued to check back until Wednesday when the full mailbox and piled up newspapers led them to force entry.
