BELTON (September 28, 2012)—Fugitive Kendrick Shoemo, 34, of Harker Heights, was held without bond Friday in the Bell County Jail after he was arrested on an outstanding Florida warrant Thursday.

He’s wanted in Florida on a warrant charging distribution of cocaine and was under investigation here for distribution of marijuana and cocaine in the Killeen and Harker Heights areas, the Bell County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.

Authorities recovered a handgun, more than four ounces of marijuana and a large quantity of cash during the arrest, the sheriff’s office said.

Authorities later seized 12 ounces of marijuana, more than a half ounce of cocaine, two firearms and a number of stolen firearms during a search of Shoemo’s home in Harker Heights, the sheriff’s office said.
