Fugitive Murder Suspect Arrested In Central Texas

COLLEGE STATION (August 3, 2012)—Kerwin D. Borden, 23, who’s wanted in Louisiana for murder, was in custody Friday in Brazos County.

College Station detectives arrested Borden shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday in the 2400 block of Longmire Drive in College Station.

He’s named in Louisiana warrants charging second-degree murder and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

He’s wanted in the May 15 shooting death of Christian Medrano, 31, in New Orleans.
