TYLER (August 5, 2012)--Authorities in East Texas were searching Sunday for Donny Lee Greenhow, 31, who’s wanted in connection with a double slaying.
The Van Zandt County Sheriff’s Office said Greenhow, was last known to be in the Waco area sometime between July 29 and August 1.
He’s named in a capital murder warrant issued Saturday, the Van Zandt County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies discovered the two decomposing bodies of the victims Friday in a mobile home east of Ben Wheeler after they responded to a welfare call from a relative concerned that no one answered the door,
Sheriff Pat Burnett said.
Authorities declined to confirm the victims' identities until autopsies were performed, but the Tyler Morning Telegraph reported that records show that Peter Shick, 74, and Latricia Shick, 55, lived at the home.
A family member said the couple's vehicle was missing.
The sheriff said an SUV stolen from Kaufman County earlier in the week was found at the scene.
