SAN ANTONIO (January 29, 2012)—Reese Pearis, 21, who was wanted in a home invasion and robbery involved an exchange of gunfire, was jailed Sunday in El Paso after he was arrested by a fugitive task force, the U.S. Marshals Service said in a press release.
He’s awaiting transfer to San Antonio, where he’s accused of taking part in the home invasion with two unidentified people at an apartment complex and exchanging gunfire with the apartment's occupants.
The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, which involves several law-enforcement agencies, developed information that Pearis had fled to El Paso and located him there.
