LORENA (March 9, 2014) Funeral arrangements have been set for a Lorena man who died last Wednesday when the truck he was repairing rolled off the two auto ramps on which it was resting and crushed him.

Billy Mack Loggins, 60, was pronounced dead at the scene, Chief McLennan County Deputy Matt Cawthon said.

Loggins was working on the truck’s transmission early Wednesday afternoon at his home in the 1900 block of Hambleton Lane when the accident happened, Cawthon said.

A family member found him beneath the truck, Cawthon said.

Loggins worked with M&M Mars/Masterfoods in Quality Assurance, until he retired in 2010.

He has since worked as a realtor in Waco and was recently working as a loan officer at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation in Temple.

Loggins’ memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, March 10th at Greater Waco Baptist Church, previously named Bellmead Calvary Baptist, on East Loop 340.
