FRISCO (July 6, 2014) Police in Frisco are investigating a zip line accident in which an 8-year-old girl fell 20 feet to the ground during the city’s annual Freedom Fest event Friday.
The girl, whose name wasn’t released, was airlifted to a nearby hospital, where she was in stable condition.
The zip line was operated by the Texas Entertainment Group.
Police said the operator is cooperating in the investigation.
The girl and her family were in the area visiting relatives.
