Gunmen Sought After Texas Bank Holdup That Left 2 Hurt

KATY (April 4, 2014) Authorities were searching Friday for three gunmen after an armed holdup at a Houston-area bank robbery left that two people hurt.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office says the two victims were taken to a hospital after the robbery Thursday afternoon at a Chase bank in the Katy area.

The victims’ injuries weren’t life threatening, authorities said.

Two of the robbers were wearing black hooded sweatshirts and the third was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.

They escaped in a blue Dodge van with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The van was reported stolen earlier in Houston.

Fort Bend County Crimes Stoppers Inc. is offering a reward of as much as $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the three gunmen.
