Hazardous Materials Experts Called In After Texas Warehouse Fire

HOUSTON (January 9, 2012)--Hazardous materials experts were sent to the scene of a fire at a Houston warehouse, which contains a vat of acid.

Houston Fire Department officials say nobody was injured in the fire, which was reported around 4 a.m. Monday.

Investigators are trying to determine what started the fire, which was put out after about two hours.

Firefighters remained at the scene to monitor hot spots and determine if any materials leaked.

Further details were not immediately available.
