HEWITT (August 21, 2014) Bradley Don Comer, 41, of Hewitt, was named in a multiple-count indictment Wednesday in connection with the continuous sexual assault of two young girls.
Comer was arrested in July on two separate warrants that allege inappropriate contact with two girls, both younger than 15 at the time of the incidents, between 2011 and 2013.
The indictment charges one count of continuous sexual abuse of young children and two counts of sexual assault of a child.
Hewitt Deputy police Chief Tuck Saunders said the two girls only recently made an outcry about the incidents to a friend, who then reported the outcry to Hewitt police.
Saunders said detectives began an investigation that led to the arrest.
Comer posted a $50,000 bond and was released from custody.
