Hit-And-Run Sends Motorcycle Rider To Local Hospital

KILLEEN (June 29, 2012)--A motorcycle rider was injured in an early morning hit-and-run accident Friday and police are looking for the driver of the vehicle who fled.

The accident happened at around 1:30 a.m. Friday on U.S. Highway 190, immediately in front of the new Seton Hospital.

Killeen police spokeswoman Carroll Smith said the motorcycle rider was taken by ambulance to Seaton with non-life threatening injuries.

Police recovered the other vehicle later in the morning, Smith said, but the driver remained at large
