Home Heavily Damaged By Overnight Fire

HALLSBURG (March 12, 2013) -- A home was heavily damaged by fire overnight.

The fire was first reported around 11:40 p.m at a home off Dogwood Lane in Hallsburg.

Fire officials reported the homeowner had something on the stove and went outside for a moment. When he returned inside, the home was filled with smoke.

The home suffered heavy damage to the interior.

No injuries were reported.

The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
