KEMPNER (February 13, 2013)—A house that caught on fire late Wednesday afternoon in Kempner is a total loss, Copperas Cove fire Chief Gary Young said.
Firefighters from Kempner and Copperas Cove battled the fire at the house at 2672 Twin Hills Drive, but the home burned to the ground, Young said.
Two people were home when the fire broke out, but both escaped without injury.
The cause is under investigation, Young said.
