HOUSTON (July 14, 2014) Houston Baptist University quarterback Jonathan Fleming, 21, was recovering Monday after four men shot and carjacked him over the weekend.
Fleming was shot in the shoulder and the heel in the carjacking, which happened after he attended a party in southeast Houston.
Fleming, a backup quarterback for the Houston Baptist University football team, said he was leaving the party when four men approached him with a gun and ordered him to get out of his vehicle and give up his possessions.
Fleming said he threw his keys and wallet into the street, before one of the men shot him.
All of the robbers ran off.
