WACO (July 21, 2012)- Two people were taken to hospital Saturday evening after a three car accident on the Interstate in Waco.
It happened around 5 p.m. Saturday on the northbound side of the interstate near mile marker 328.
Police say a Jeep was speeding when it hit a car from behind, causing that car to hit another vehicle.
Traffic was backed up while crews cleared the scene of the accident.
A man and a woman were transported to the hospital by ambulance.
A few others were treated on the scene for minor injuries.
The driver of the Jeep was given a speeding ticket.
