Rusty Garrett here with the weekend outlook: Sun and clouds both Saturday and Sunday with daytime high temps in the mid and upper 50s. Merry Christmas!
WASHINGTON (November 5, 2011)—It’s time to reclaim that hour of sleep you lost last spring as Daylight Saving Time comes to an end at 2 a.m. Sunday.
Across most of the country, clocks will be set back one hour Saturday night, except in Hawaii, most of Arizona and some U.S. territories that don’t observe the time change.
Firefighters say it’s also time to replace batteries in smoke detectors and to replace detectors that are more than 10 years old.
Daylight Saving time returns the second Sunday in March.
