Jackknifed 18-Wheeler Causes Major Problems On Busy Local Highway

WACO (December 21, 2012)—A noontime accident involving a jackknifed 18-wheeler and several other vehicles caused major traffic backup Friday afternoon on westbound Loop 340 at Imperial Drive in Waco.

Paramedics were dispatched to the scene, but no one was taken to the hospital.

A number of police units responded to reroute lunch-hour traffic.

The highway was cleared and reopened by around 12:50 p.m.
