Body That Jogger Found In Texas River Was Missing Teen’s

A body that a jogger found in a Texas river has been identified as that of a teenager who disappeared earlier in the week while swimming with friends.

SAN ANGELO (May 2, 2014) A body that a jogger discovered Thursday in the Concho River in downtown San Angelo has been identified as a 15-year-old boy who disappeared while swimming with friends.

Police identified the teenager as Daniel Perez.

The teen was last seen Monday afternoon while he and his friends were swimming.

At the time, police said Perez was believed to have been under the influence of an intoxicant when he disappeared.

Foul play was not suspected.

An autopsy was been ordered.

Police closed a bridge and a low water crossing in the area of the discovery Thursday.
