WACO (November 13, 2012)--A Waco man pleaded guilty Tuesday to multiple child sex charges and was sentenced to 60 years in state prison.
State District Judge Ralph Strother sentenced Matthew Mark Schoenewolf, 39, to 60 years for continuous sexual abuse of a child, 20 years for indecency with a child by contact and 10 years for possession of child pornography, and then ordered the sentences to be served concurrently.
Schoenewolf was arrested on a warrant in November 2011 after a U.S. Marshal's task force tracked him down in Oregon.
He was returned to Waco and later named on Feb. 15, 2012 in three multi-count indictments in the sexual abuse of three local girls who ranged in age from 10 to 16.
The incidents occurred in 2009 and 2010 at a residence in Waco, police said.
