Local Bank Robbed At Gunpoint

LAMPASAS (November 8, 2013) Police were searching Friday for a man armed with a semi-automatic pistol who robbed a bank in Lampasas and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robbery was reported at around 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Extraco Bank at 302 North Key Ave. in Lampasas.

The robber was white, had a slight beard, and was in his early to late 20s.

He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, jeans, glasses, white tennis shoes and a ball cap that appeared to be white or light yellow, police said.
